Mindfulness for Wellbeing classes in Emmer Green An opportunity to pause at the end of the week, to learn mindfulness techniques and approaches for a calmer life in a quiet space. There is a morning class for an hour from 9.45am and an afternoon 1.45pm class. £8 drop in or £7 per week if you sign up for the 6 week block. Mini Retreats These are an opportunity for deep relaxation and recharge for adults in need of a pause on a Friday evening. They are normally held monthly at the tranquil hall at Eye & Dunsden, in Dunsden Green RG4 9QG. Just 10 minutes away from Caversham and Henley.
A relaxing evening of mindful calm, letting go, breathwork and setting positive intentions.
A 2 hour Mindfulness Summer Club for 6-10 year olds 8 kids per session. Simple mindfulness exercises, Take 5, making sensory jars, & sitting still like a frog with the Hush Kids hippo! Booking essential. Start date for 2019 classes to be released soon!

1 to 1
This is how I spend most of my week, either working 1:1 with 11-18 year old pupils in school and seeing 1:1 clients from home. I do also work with Primary school aged children but would shorten the length of the sessions according to their age. I use MBSR (Mindful based stress reduction) to help reduce anxiety with simple to use exercises. I hold a level 3 Certificate in counselling skills. I am trained in reducing panic attacks and GAD (generalised anxiety disorder). I am not a qualified counsellor, if you are looking for a traditional talking therapist I would recommend a referral via your GP. I work with a number of young people who are on the waiting list for CAMHS and am always happy to discuss via email or phone call, individual needs before any initial appointment.
I am also working with an increasing number of adults who are looking for strategies to reduce the impact of stress/anxiety
I am now able to offer bespoke small group mindfulness sessions from my beautiful bell tent, these sessions can be tailored to the needs of the group and are suitable for between 4-6 people. These sessions need to be booked in advance and are ideal for groups of friends wishing to experience mindfulness in a relaxed and relaxing environment. These sessions run between May & September only.
